Andrea has given un to me a new fish. I must think of a name for it, for the dear needs plenty of support because its bowl is not sutted [sic, with long "u" symbol] for it. I adore it! Me believes a “y” name will be good, or maybe “v”. Oh well, it will come to/me.

Sim opened her present from me to her today, and I did likewise. I thought she might start to cry when she saw it, I believe she likes it. Well our snow is disappearing, a pity. But I spose it was not meant to be. I feel a little bad for not giving my teacher anything for Christmas. I shall give a hug, and a simple good wish.
